Performance Dips

Did you know that at the height of his career one of the most successful tennis players, decided to change his racket? Roger Federer decided to have a “performance dip”in order to improve his game. This weekend he broke his own record and won Wimbledon for the eighth time! Progress is not linear. When you learn something new there will be a learning curve. You will experience a “performance dip” until you get use to the new way of doing, of being, of acting. Be gentle with yourself. If you aren’t making mistakes in this process, chances are you are not learning anything. Fail fast but keep going. #CuratedCoachTips
