The Case Against Stress

Let’s play a game. Who can tell me everything that stressed them out 2 weeks ago? Chances are you can’t but you know you were stressed. Stress is caused when our minds become caught in a tailspin of thought. These thoughts are either making us feel worse about what happened in the past, concerned with what’s going on now, or worried about what might go wrong in the future. When we cease this internal chatter in our minds, we make room for clearer thinking. Situations then become easier to deal with when we aren’t lost in the stress and worry of our problems. When you start to worry ask yourself “are these thoughts moving me closer to my goals or keeping me from them?” #CuratedCoachTips
